The acclaimed Montreal indie rockers fronted by husband and wife team of Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, return with their first new music for three years, a single referring to the Chinese zodiac calendar for 2025, and announcing their new album, Pink Elephant, out on 9 May via Columbia Records, produced by Daniel Lanois. The lyrics also refer to making a clean break, and the band has been under a shadow since 2022 when Win Butler was accused of alleged sexual misconduct by multiple women, and has since admitted adultery and addiction issues.
