Minnesota’s Low co-founder’s latest solo release is a beautiful slow, poignant number joined by Duluth band Trampled By Turtles, and features vocals by his daughter Hollis, whose voice is uncannily like that of her mother – Alan’s wife and creative partner, Mimi Parker, who tragically died in 2022. The track heralds the forthcoming album With Trampled by Turtles, out on Sub Pop Records on 30 May. To explore and enjoy more by Alan Sparhawk, see also the other embedded links below.
One of these days I'm gonna learn
Something I probably already heard
So turn up the bright lights
And turn up the drum mics
Turn up the "probably, I don't know..."
It's not broken
I'm not angry
It's not broken
I'm not angry
It's not broken
I'm not angry
It's not broken
I'm not angry
All that sound
It's so damn loud
Hold it down
Hold it down
All that sound
It's too damn loud
Hold it down
Hold it down
It's not broken
I'm not angry
It's not broken
I'm not angry
It's not broken
Not broken
