The latest single from the Chicago band is a dance/ postpunk track with an infectious, edgy, menacing energy, and heralds their new album, Animal Hospital, out 29 August via Felte Records. The band’s band’s Alicia Gaines describes it as “a dance track that’s constantly questioning whether dancing’s still allowed. It’s got that suspicious energy, like too much coffee and not enough sleep.” To explore and enjoy more by Ganser, see also the other embedded links below.
We're making good time
Circling the drain
Trying to have good times
Don't be a headcase
They've got it figured out
"Kids don't dance anymore"
Think they got us figured out
"The kids don't dance anymore"
Kids don't dance anymore
Kids don't dance anymore
Killing time and keeping score
Kids don't dance anymore
Got some new medication ("The kids don't dance anymore")
Something to even out ("The kids don't dance anymore")
I think I'm seeing shadows
I think I'm scared of numbers
I think they've figured me out
And "the kids don't dance" anymore, do they?
And those kids?
Well, "fuck them kids"
I'm think I'm seeing double
I think we're walking circles
I think I feel transparent
I think they're on to something
Kids don't dance anymore
Kids don't dance anymore
Killing time and keeping score
Kids don't dance anymore
Kids don't dance anymore
Kids don't dance anymore
Killing time and keeping score
Kids don't dance anymore
