A vulnerable, tender, delicately glistening acoustic new single by the Todmorden-raised singer-songwriter from Working Men’s Club, heralding his upcoming debut solo album, Lunga, out on 12 September 2025 on Domino Records. Minsky Sargeant, best known as Syd, wrote songs for the album over several years, recounting his West Yorkshire upbringing, is musically inspired by the likes of Nick Drake, Bert Jansch, Bon Iver and Bill Callahan, with delicate finger-picking, gentle synths, and drowsy, ethereal sounds.
