Beautiful, reflective, uplifting alternative folk with banjo, guitar, flute and more by the Wexford Irish twin brothers Brandon and Ashley Watson, from their new five-track EP, Revisions, a mix of new and re-worked, re-recorded numbers. As the EP title suggests, it is “a redoing of things - an attempt to bring the old songs into the present day, a gift to our younger selves from the future and a bridge into album three … Motor Hotel had never even been recorded, despite having performed it at every live show for years, because we couldn’t embrace the tempo shift in the chorus. Working with long-time collaborators Cillian & Lorcan Byrne on mixing, bass and percussion, the brothers find a segue between albums two and three by updating songs written nearly a decade ago.
