The prolific Leeds-formed indie legends led by David Gedge return with this stirring, emotional, guitar-rich love song from their latest 6-track EP, Maxi, echoing an EP from three decades ago, out on Scopitones / Clue Records. The band first released records more than 40 years ago. The EP revisits the concept of The Wedding Present's 1996 EP Mini, again loosely based around the theme of driving. Maxi follows the release of 40 – a commemorative reflection of the band’s catalogue across four-vinyl and four-CD formats, with the compilation’s final track being Hot Wheels – a track from Maxi.
