With all the fanfare, and four decades on from their last new music, the fab four of Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha and Anni-Frid return with that emotion-pulling pop formula that recalls their 70s and early 80s heyday, along with a second single I Still Have Faith In You and forthcoming album Voyage.
Cheesy? Cynical? Cliched? Achingly sentimental? In many ways, but also undeniably enduring pop, filled with wistful perspective and slwoly building to those classic, piano-rippling and orchestrated choruses, with echoes of The Winner Takes It All to Dancing Queen.
Their new album with also be ‘toured’ with London series of concerts featuring a digital animation of the band, created with multiple cameras of them performing all their hits and the new material recreated with their 1979 looks, as explained in the third video below.
