Despite the title, this new double-A single (with Friday I’m Gonna Love You) has a wonderfully uplifting guitar-jangling beauty, with echoes of The Byrds and Stone Roses, but is of course the brilliant 60s and 70s retro sound of the Long Island brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario, out on Captured Tracks. Their last album was 2024’s A Dream Is All We Know, with Brian also releasing last year’s solo LP Till The Morning. I've got a broken heart
I don't know where to start
Wherever I run to
Wherever I go
Your love will haunt me
Girl, I love you so
I don't know what to do
I only think of you
I can't stop my feelings
They're growing inside
They're up to the ceiling
Girl, I don't want to hide
Other girls
They never meant a thing to me
If you don't love me
Who else can I be?
Wherever you run to
Wherever you go
Your love will haunt me
Girl, I love you so
I've got a broken heart
And I don't know where to start
Wherever I run to
Wherever I go
Your love will haunt me
Girl, I love you more
